Let’s kick things off with some facts about me. I don’t know about you, but I’m VERY curious about people which is why I love interviewing!
Story Telling
I fell in love with stories as soon as I could read. Everything about them is fascinating – from the characters to the adventures they go on. I learnt from a young age how powerful stories could be and have always used them as a way to express myself, whether it was through writing, acting or drawing.
Even now, my favourite things include reading, writing novels with my friends, writing articles and drama lessons were always my favourite.
Earlier this year I was part of our school production Grease! I had so much fun and loved acting as my characters: a teacher, student and drive-in-scene actress! I loved making new friends and it was so great when our hard work payed off and our final performances were a success!
Journalism
My journalism experience began 3 years ago when I stumbled across Wattpad (an online writing platform). I started interviewing some of the BIG Wattpad writers on there, asking for tips and advice to help with my own writing.
However, I became more interested in their own ‘journeys as writers’ and started interviewing writers as a hobby. It was a great experience, and every time I published a new interview I felt so happy that I was helping a writer gain more exposure in the community.

Now, I’ve had brilliant opportunities to write articles for my local community and online magazines (links to follow). I’m so thankful for every one of those incredible experiences!
Bookstagram
Bookstagram is an online network of people who discuss and review books on Instagram. Joining this network was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. It enabled me to focus all my energy into a positive activity; rather than wasting my time over-thinking friendship dramas, boy troubles, and obsessing about likes on my personal Instagram account.
Morals
Some of my core values, that I really believe in are: equality, social responsibility, and diversity. I think these values are so important to ensure that each individual has equal opportunities to make the most of their talents and thrive in life, helping us understand different perspectives within the world.
